Well..I thought I'd enter a contest..
Not that I expect to win..But I'd thought it be fun..
My entry is inspired by the song Sad Song - Hooverphonic

There's a line in the song which goes like "I recorded the sound of your eyes...And I converted them into this sad song
I got curious of how that would look like, and since I got a strong feeling of sadness when I heard those lines..I thought my picture should have that feeling as well..
I used the female reflection in there for the simple reason that a woman is singing the song.
I tried to get that sad feeling again with the splatter in the eye..A sort of runny mascara..But then from your iris.. That the pain is really comming from the inside, and not just simple tears you can whipe away..
The paperbrushes are there to give it a older feeling..That the person has been feeling this for so long, that everything around him turned gray, and sad. But somehow there's still that hope, hence the eye itself still being in color.

I know this might sound kinda strange..I've always found it hard to decribe just why I do something..
It's the best I can come up with to describe the pictures in my head that come with the song..
